Reaching for Progress
The artwork depicts a paramedic hoisting a Muslim woman up to touch a rainbow. The two humans depict the vast diversity of our world through different nationalities and religions. Although the rainbow may represent pride and acceptance, it can also represent the covenant and unity. The man is a paramedic and the woman is disabled as seen by the crutches. The different animals in the forestry surrounding them add to the theme of diversity.
