Dr. REN Minghui is a professor of global health in the School of Public Health and the Director of Institute for Global Heath Peking University, Beijing, China. He graduated from Xi’an Medical University (now Xi’an Jiaotong University Health Science Center), Harvard School of Public Health, and Peking University Health Science Center with his PhD. He was the Director General of International Health Cooperation in the Ministry of Health (National Health and Family Planning Commission) China, and the Assistant Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Jan 2016-Nov 2022. He was awarded the Honorable Mention of the Russian Federation and the Ordre National du Mérite of France.
