Alejandro is committed to promoting sustainable environment policies that address air pollution and climate change through campaigns, civic spaces and dialogues. He is currently completing a master’s in public administration at Columbia University in New York. Rising to President of the Board at El Derecho a No Obedecer, Alejandro has worked to develop and promote social advocacy around issues such as air pollution, refugee rights and peaceful mobilisation. As a founding member of both the Latin American Coalition for Clean Air and the National Citizen Network for Clean Air in Colombia, his purpose is to promote climate justice and the right to a healthy environment for young people across the globe. In 2023, Alejandro was the winner of the LEAD 2030 Award for his work on clean air. Alejandro currently works as a Research Consultant for the Greater Caribbean Climate Mobility Initiative.
