Angèle Mendy holds a PhD in Social Sciences. Her research focuses on the internal and international Mobility and Migration of African health professionals and their impacts on the provision of health care to populations. Dr. Mendy is a former Takemi Fellow in International Health (2020-2022) at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health where she currently supports Dr. Jesse Bump's research on the historical roots of health inequalities, the logic of domination of resources, and the control of medical knowledge in global health in Africa.
