Professor Mishal Khan is a Professor of Global Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), visiting faculty at the Aga Khan University in Karachi, and an Associate Fellow at the Centre on Universal Health at Chatham House, UK. She is internationally recognised for her expertise on strengthening health systems and policies for infectious disease control and her work on addressing issues of governance and equitable practices in Global Health. Dr Khan sits on of The Lancet’s Racial Equity Advisory Board and was an elected member of LSHTM’s governing Council from 2000 – 2023. In addition to a PhD and MSc from LSHTM, Dr Khan holds an MA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. She has authored over 70 papers in leading international journals and numerous book chapters.
