On September 18, 2023, three Siriraj Medical School students were sent by the Deputy Dean of Undergraduate Studies, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, and the Siriraj Medical Student Union to the University of Melbourne, Australia, to participate in the Global Health Case Competition. This competition required participating teams to present solutions to global health problems, using a multidisciplinary approach encompassing medicine, public health, economics, and other fields. The teams were to plan their solutions and present their work on the day of the event. Following the conclusion of the competition, the intention is to leverage the experience and ideas garnered to enhance the Faculty of Medicine at Siriraj Hospital, both in Thailand and internationally.
